Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a serious medical condition that occurs when a blood clot (thrombus) forms in a deep vein, typically in the legs. It can lead to serious complications if not treated promptly.

Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat fibroid tumors of the uterus which can cause heavy menstrual bleeding, pain, and pressure on the bladder or bowel. It uses a form of real-time x-ray called fluoroscopy to guide the delivery of embolic agents to the uterus and fibroids. These agents block the arteries that provide blood to the fibroids and cause them to shrink. Studies have shown that nearly 90 percent of women who undergo UFE experience significant or complete resolution of their fibroid-related symptoms.

All patients receiving hemodialysis require a permanent method of connection to remove toxins from their bodies. For those receiving hemodialysis, a graft or fistula, which join an artery and vein together, provides access for blood to flow to a hemodialyzer, where toxic waste is removed. However, the connection point can get clogged or dirty, and that can reduce the effectiveness of dialysis treatments and cause serious infections. Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) is a condition, in which a build-up of fatty deposits in the arteries which reduces the inner diameter of the vessel and restricts blood supply. It's also known as Peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Vascular malformations are abnormal clusters or networks of blood vessels that are present from birth (congenital). Unlike hemangiomas (which grow and then often shrink in infancy), vascular malformations tend to grow slowly over time and do not resolve on their own.
